Walking the Lenten Journey with Scripture and Benedictine Values (Br. Tobias Dammert, OSB)

St. Benedict gives us sound advice for life’s journey and especially for the Season of Lent, which he views as a journey of joyful expectation. This day of recollection will include shared lectio divina with selected Scripture passages, time for silent reflection, and exploring Benedictine values regarding the Observance of Lent, God’s Mercy, the Community of Brothers and Sisters, Silence, and Celebration. Consider arranging for an overnight stay and meeting with the presenter for individual spiritual direction.

Brother Tobias Dammert, OSB, a professed monk of almost 50 years, serves the community of Christ the King Priory as its treasurer, mission procurator, liturgist and kitchen master. He holds a Certificate in Spiritual Direction from Benedictine Peace Center in Yankton, SD.
