This retreat is for religious sisters in active ministry. 

The opening sentence of Pope Francis’ Apostolic Exhortation reads, “The joy of the gospel fills the hearts and lives of all who encounter Jesus.” This retreat will be about what helps us to know Jesus more intimately, to love him more deeply, and to follow him more closely.

Father Thomas A. Hillenbrand, OSB, STL, is a former monk of Blue Cloud Abbey, SD, which closed in Aug. of 2012. He is presently transferring his stability to Christ the King Priory in Schuyler, NE. In his over 50 years as a Benedictine monk, he has received his education and degrees from San Anselmo College in Rome and from Notre Dame University. After that he has served as novice master, Pastor on an Indian reservation, Chaplain at Mt. Marty College, Prior in Guatemala, and then Abbot at Blue Cloud for 16 years.
