The Foundational Intimacy: Eucharist as a Model for Marriage (Jim and Maureen Otremba)



Come discover new connections between the Eucharist and marriage. In this energetic presentation, married couples are invited to explore parts of the liturgy including gathering, repentance, breaking open the Word, and partaking of the very Body and Blood of Christ. Applying insights gained and practicing skills for enhancing intimacy, spouses are renewed in their love for the Eucharist and their sacrament of marriage. Includes talks, personal and couple reflection time, Mass and Reconciliation.

Jim and Maureen Otremba

Jim and Maureen Otremba

Jim and Maureen Otremba have been married since 1995 and have been part-time stay-at-home parents since 1999. They are frequent presenters of retreats and workshops for couples, deacons and their wives, and lay ministers around the U.S. Both hold Masters degrees in Catholic theology. They have been guest speakers on EWTN and on Spirit Catholic Radio and have written several articles for the U.S. Bishops' website www.foryourmarriage.org. Maureen has held several Catholic ministry positions including working with youth and adults. Jim is a licensed therapist in Minnesota and is a regular guest on national Catholic Radio (Relevant Radio). Together they bring their personal and professional teachings to thousands of Catholic couples each year throughout the U.S. through workshops, Catholic workbooks, and retreats. They are dynamic speakers who use high energy and humor and have presented at the national, Diocesan, and parish levels.
