SILENT: A Taste of Contemplative Prayer (Father Thomas Leitner, OSB)

“In being still there lies a wonderful power of clarification, of purification, and of concentration on the essential” (Dietrich Bonheffer).  Contemplative prayer is the opening of mind and heart—our whole being—to God, the Ultimate Mystery, beyond thoughts, words, and emotions. This retreat, involving breath practice, is for beginners on the contemplative journey. Please bring loose fitting clothing of neutral colors.
