Resting in the Lord: Marriage as His Gift (Deacon James Keating, Ph.D.)

Often couples believe they have to “work hard” to remain in love, to not lose sight of one another in today’s busy culture. True we have to will our love for one another, but this willing is more gift than task and Christ is eager to help us remain in love with one another…more than eager. In this retreat for married couples we will explore how we can allow our marriages to be taken up into Christ’s own love for each couple thus minimizing the “work” of marriage and maximizing the Gift that it is.  There will be conferences, spiritual direction, silence, prayer, time for couple conversation and Mass.  We encourage especially also younger couples to attend.
