“Prayer is sitting in silence until it silences us, choosing gratitude until we are grateful, and praising God until we ourselves are an act of praise” (Richard Rohr).
In contemplative prayer, we divest our minds of all thoughts and images in order to receive the pure and simple light of God directly into the summit of our souls. This retreat involves breath practice. It is for those who have begun the practice of non-conceptual prayer.
