SILENT: Spiritual Resistance (Fr. Larry Gillick, SJ)

We will be praying with and reflecting upon the various ways we resist Jesus’ relating with us.

Two presentations will guide our prayer. These will not be lectures, but guide-helps for those interested in allowing themselves to be met and how being met can be cause for protective and defensive positioning. The Eucharistic liturgy will be celebrated each day and there will be an optional Friday and Saturday evening session for shared reflections and questionings. The basic belief is that God reverences and labors with our human resistances as does a sculptor reverences the resistance of the clay.
