A retreat for religious Sisters. Peter and the other apostles were ordinary people like you and I, with all their strengths and weaknesses. They were filled with a longing to follow Jesus so they would be close to God. This closeness completely transformed them. Based on the biographies of Jesus’ apostles and on our own biographies, we will look back gratefully on our journey with God in this retreat, find new closeness to God, and discern where God wants to send us in our lives.

Father Anastasius Reiser, OSB, completed his studies of theology in Germany. He lived and worked at the Benedictine Abbey of Peramiho in Tanzania for sixteen years and now serves as prior of the monastic community in Schuyler.
