This retreat is based on the Rule of Benedict. It offers an overview of the Rule and the values we can draw from it for living out our life as disciples of Jesus. The main focus will be on friendship with Jesus and how to live in peace with others.

Father Tom Hillenbrand, OSB, STL, formerly a monk of Blue Cloud Abbey, SD, has transferred his stability to Christ the King Priory, Schuyler. During his sixty years as a Benedictine, he served as novice master, pastor on an Indian reservation, chaplain at Mt. Marty College, prior in Guatemala, and then abbot at Blue Cloud for 16 years.
