Integrating science, Scripture and history, Pope Francis helps us in his encyclical, On Care for Our Common Home (‘Laudato Si’), to hear the cry of the Earth and the cry of the poor. This retreat will focus on ways of praying and meditating that will help us appropriate Pope Francis’ vision. Father Hamm will also engage Pope Francis’ most recent development of “Laudato Si’”—Querida Amazonia, his apostolic exhortation on the bishops’ synod document: “The Amazon: New Paths for the Church and for an Integral Ecology.”
