Facilitator: Steven Blum, PhD, Benedictine Oblate.
During six Zoom sessions, we will pray with, The Showings of Julian of Norwich. Julian’s writings stem from a series of revelations she received during a life-threatening illness. She left us with the very first book composed by a woman in the English language which deeply conveys God’s love and goodness toward us. Through Julian’s uplifting and encouraging insights into God’s love, we will strive to more deeply understand how, in her words, “God is nearer to us than our own soul,” and “in falling and rising again we are ever preciously kept in one love.” The Zoom meetings will be every other Monday from 7:00-8:00 PM Central Standard Time. The dates are September 22, October 6, October 20, November 3, November 17, and December 1, 2025.
There is no cost to register and participate in this Zoom retreat other than the cost to purchase the book. Please register below.
