Learn about the Gospel of St. Matthew and pray with it. Enter more deeply into Jesus’ teaching about the mystery of the Kingdom of God. We will explore the Gospel used for the current Liturgical Year (A) and reflect on writings from the saints to deepen our hope coming from the Gospel of Jesus Christ! The weekend includes personal and community prayer, opportunity for individual spiritual direction and the sacrament of reconciliation, adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, and Mass both Saturday and Sunday.

Kay Parlor holds a master’s degree in Theological Studies from the Institute for Pastoral Theology of Ave Maria University. She has been an associate (“Cooperative”) member of the Institute of Apostolic Oblates for over sixteen years and is currently serving as the National Coordinator for Cooperatives in the United States. Previously, Kay served for six years as the Local Director of the Midwest Pro Sanctity Board. Kay has given many retreats and presented at parish Days of Reflection. Kay and her husband, Rob, have five adult children (ages 36-18) and a three-year-old grandson, Benedict.
Jackie Sempek works at Broom Tree Retreat Center in Irene, South Dakota where she has spent the last 13 years growing in Ignatian spiritual formation. She is currently in her final year of Spiritual Direction formation with the Cenacle of Our Lady of Divine Providence in Clearwater, FL. She is married has seven children. Jackie is a Cooperative Oblate with the Apostolic Oblates.
Father Tom Hillenbrand, OSB, STL, has received his education and degrees from San Anselmo College in Rome and from Notre Dame University. After that he has served as novice master, Pastor on an Indian reservation, Chaplain at Mt. Marty College, Prior in Guatemala, and then Abbot at Blue Cloud, SD, for 16 years.
