At Easter, we lit the new fire, Christ, the light that we Christians received at our baptism.

In many people, this fire is hidden. But sometimes we feel within us through our emotions, longings and actions that this divine glow may ignite. Our wounds lie like ashes on this glow. But the divine fire wants to break through and become a fire that illuminates our lives in the light of faith. With the help of Benedict’s Rule, of Holy Scripture, and of our own experience, we will rekindle the hidden embers within us.
