Physically our sun is “just a star” like billions of others in our Milky Way.

For us humans and all life on earth it is the source of energy par excellence. Besides the scientific astronomical background and insight, which is the focus of this retreat, we will also look at the sun’s importance in the Christian tradition. If possible, we will gaze at the sun with the telescope and explore it by means of special filters. Retreat includes the building of a sundial, Adoration, and Mass.
