You Have Been Told What the Lord Requires of You: To Do Justice and to Love Goodness and to Walk Humbly with Your God (Fr. Joel Macul, OSB)

retreat for religious women. These words of the prophet Micah (Mic 6:8) capture the essence of our relationship with our God and Father. During these Sabbath retreat days, we will visit with our ancestors of the faith in the Old Testament to see how they gave witness to these covenantal words. We will look at some of the lives of the men and women who have gone before us: Abraham and Sarah, Moses, Elijah, other prophets, the Servant, Lady Wisdom and others. Jesus saw and understood himself through them. This time will allow us to see ourselves in the same tradition.
