Light scatters the darkness…

Already two candles are burning on the Advent wreath!

We look to the Prophets of Old who announced the coming of the Savior as we listen to the readings at Mass. John invites us to prepare the way of the Lord. Mary, the Immaculate Conception gave her FIAT – her YES and became the mother of Jesus. Joseph, the quiet one, followed the angel’s instruction and took Mary into his home. Jesus, born in a humble place, is the ONE in whom we place all our trust, begging in prayer to shower graces and blessings upon all who are dear to us and especially to bring peace to the world.

During this Second Week of Advent, we Missionary Benedictines of Schuyler extend prayerful greetings and we thank you for your friendship and support.
